Our carefully selected insurance partners also understand you and what you do. Box Professional Insurance is Built for Advisors, By Advisors.

  2. We only handle the Fiduciary Liability portion of your insurance needs, so you can keep your General Liability, Property, etc. with your local agent. We begin where your local insurance shop ends.

  3. We stay engaged in the happenings of your industry so we can identify the issues and changes you are facing. We feel it is our job to be on the lookout for better solutions to those issues.  

  4. We are building technology that will make it easier for us to bridge the gap between you and insurance companies.  This will inevitably help us get you better terms. When we can properly tell your story to an underwriter, we all win!

  5. Just like you, we take a consultative approach with our clients. There is no one-size-fits-all solution. We are committed to finding the best fit for you.

Get In Touch

Our consultative process starts when you fill out our scheduling form on our homepage. This allows us to research IAPD before your call, so we can be more efficient with your time. During your call, we will start our discussion by asking, “What do you want to learn from this chat?” Then we will go through a number of questions to help us get to know you.

During this chat you may also have a number of questions, which we are happy to discuss. At the end of the call, there are a couple of different routes we may go. You may want a review or to look into a specific insurance need. If you have a specific insurance need, we will discuss with you how we can help and what that process looks like. If you want a review, we will share with you how that process works. In any case, the goal we are looking to achieve by the end of the call is to give you the information you need to be able to take your next step.

Chad Ramberg

Chad Ramberg has over 12 years of experience in management, including GM/Director and Controller positions.

For the initial decades of his career, Mr. Ramberg held leadership positions in the claims division of the insurance industry. As his career in the claims sector drew to a close, he opted to channel his financial acumen into becoming a Registered Investment Advisor. During his tenure as an advisor, he gained a profound respect for the day-to-day challenges RIAs face. Changing course, Chad discovered that he could make a more significant contribution to the financial services community by becoming an insurance advisor to advisors. Now, Chad has the privilege of engaging with advisors across the country, meeting their needs so they can focus on what they do best.

When Chad is not working, you may find him experiencing the great outdoors. With his family he may be camping, hiking or riding through the mountains.

Sr. Relationship Manager

Alex Williamson

Meet Alex Williamson, an experienced broker at Box Professional Insurance, specializing in working with Investment Advisors to provide them with E&O insurance (+ D&O, Crime, Cyber, ERISA bonds). Alex is passionate about understanding his clients' specific risks and business operations, followed by scrutinizing their insurance coverage for any inadequacies or deficiencies. His goal is to give advisors the tools + education they need to make the best decisions for their firm.

Alex began his career in the insurance industry in 2014 as a Financial Representative with Northwestern Mutual. During this time, he earned various licenses, including Series 6, Life, Health, and Long-Term Disability. A year or two later, he decided to pursue an amazing opportunity in media. After a successful five year stint in advertising and running his own media company, Alex shifted gears back to insurance. This time, he would be working on the P&C side – helping advisors protect their most important asset – their business.

During his leisure time, Alex enjoys exploring nature, particularly on his Hobie Cat sailboat. He tied the knot with his partner, Bree, in August 2022, and is now relishing every moment of their life together.

Sr. Account Specialist and Operations manager

Ryan Closs

Ryan is a detail-oriented and well organized licensed broker with a focus on improving our client’s experience. He brings a wealth of knowledge and wisdom to Box Professional Insurance, having worked in the industry since 2016 after graduating from Biola University with a degree in Business Management. His primary role at Box Professional is to ensure a smooth renewal process for clients and improve the efficiency of the company.

If you haven’t heard already, BPI was founded on the principles of Kaizen – a Japanese approach to process and business – that is best translated “continuous improvement”; a component Ryan was eager to find in a company.

One of his major accomplishments is the seamless integration of our CRM, Salesforce, with nearly every aspect of our business. This integration has enabled us to track and analyze data at any given moment, leading to better decision-making and improved overall performance. Furthermore, he has taken on a few client initiatives and helped them optimize their operations and data management.

In addition to his work, Ryan enjoys spending time with his wife, Taylor, and daughter, Joelle, who was born in June 2022. He is an avid exerciser and loves working on home improvement projects. Ryan's attention to detail and dedication to customer satisfaction make him an invaluable member of the Box Professional team.

Cole Jacobs

Cole Jacobs is a native of Northern Colorado and grew up in a large family of seven. He loves traveling back to Colorado to spend time with his family and in the Rockies. Cole's love of the outdoors runs deep, and he enjoys engaging in a variety of outdoor activities such as hiking, swimming, boating, and various sports, including baseball, basketball, and volleyball.

In early 2023, Cole joined the Box Professional team as a Relationship Manager, following his graduation from Brigham Young University-Idaho with a degree in Business Finance and a minor in Financial Planning. As a first-generation college graduate, Cole brings youthful energy to the team, along with an exceptional attention to detail and a passion for helping others.

Cole’s long-term aspirations include starting his own family and starting his own RIA. He believes there is no greater service one can provide than a service that provides peace of mind, and he knows that financial planners help their clients every day at finding that peace, despite the uncertainty and doubt that can come with a planning for one’s family’s financial future.
